On 14 November 2025, the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Annette McKenzie, paid a visit to Troop Aid.

On 14 March 2025, Al Sutton was honoured to be invited to attend the passing-out parade of Musician Neve Lawrence. Neve has a long-standing connection with Troop Aid, having first joined the charity as a volunteer at just 16 years of age while she was a student at St Peter’s School in Solihull.
